Upper Bench, located on seven acres of vineyard on the Naramata Bench, is also a creamery.
This vintage of their estate Chardonnay had 50% of it matured for three months in oak (30% new).
It is a bright style with a light touch of oak. Aromas of grilled yellow apples, toasted hazelnuts and melon rind is finished with a bold spritz of lemon. Yellow fruits lemon and light toast flavours are mimicked on the palate. Not creamy but lively with a medium-length finish.
